THE BOXED COLLECTION

SCP invited a group of new designers to revisit an original 2009 brief to create small pieces that would fit into a standard shipping container. Un-restricted by material or typology, items have been designed by both established names and a host of new, emerging talent, and include unique side tables, stools, shelves, tableware and desk accessories.

Collaborators include: Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby, Pierre Charpin, Nathalie du Pasquier, Philippe Malouin, Andu Masebo, Julie Richoz and George Sowden among others.

GEORGE SOWDEN X SCP

SCP and Sowden will unveil two collaboration armchair designs - the Club and Wing

Designed from the basis of a single sketch, the two postmodern armchairs combine elemental design and vibrant colourways to blend functional integrity with Sowden’s signature use of classic forms.

The armchairs launch in addition to Sowden’s wall hook designs for The Boxed Collection, continuing his penchant for vibrant colour palettes with bold red and blue accents.

2025 COLLECTION

Building on its fully sustainable upholstery collection, Truly Natural Always (TLA), which first launched in 2023, SCP continues this strong thread of product development, with the launch of a dedicated collection of new upholstery - debuting two new seating systems by Matthew Hilton and Terence Woodgate

SCP, after a decade of research, now crafts all furniture with 100% natural, sustainable materials at its Norfolk upholstery factory, replacing foam with engineered wool, burlap, recycled wool felt, jute webbing, latex, feathers, and coconut fibers. These new materials and manufacturing techniques will be spotlighted in new designs, presented alongside Philippe Malouin’s Group sofa and cocktail chair - two staple pieces from SCP’s permanent collection, featuring TLA fabrics.
